Frank was a Mason’s Mason, an exemplar of the fraternity’s moral lessons. He loved the rich history and rituals of the Masonic Craft. While he recited the charges and lectures given to candidates in our degrees with due seriousness he would inevitably break into a broad smile and clapping together of his hands in the cheer joy of the poetry of the words.
He joined Masonry in his father’s Indiana lodge as early as one could, age 21. He was proud to serve as the Worshipful Master of Bellingham Bay Lodge No. 44 in its centennial year, 1984.
Frank was a member in Thorntown 113, Bellingham Bay 44, and \nKo’olau Lodge Hawaii. Also a member of the Walter F Meier Lodge of Research \nNo. 281 and Grand Mound Historical No. 3.
Frank served on key judicial committees of the Grand Lodge of \nWashington for 20 years and was active in the Scottish Rite Valley of Bellingham and the Nile Shrine.
